Celebrate summer and transform your Royal Palm sidewalk or driveway into vibrant colors and works of art! This is an all-ages, neighborhood-wide chalk art competition that anyone can participate in. We encourage residents to create chalk art individually or collaborate with each other. Be creative and have fun!

How To Enter
To enter the contest, post a photo of your completed chalk art inside the Royal Palm Neighborhood Facebook group between June 22nd and extended until July 7th.
You must use the hashtag #RoyalPalmChalkArtContest in your caption. This allows us to find your artwork.
Alternately, you can email your photo to info@royalpalmneighborhoodphx.com. There is no entry fee.
Rules
Only one submission per residence/account.
Resident artists are responsible for providing their own chalk. Other favorite supplies include water bottles, artist sponges, paintbrushes, masking tape, kneeling pads, etc.
Be safe in the AZ heat! Start early and take lots of “artist breaks” when working on your sidewalk chalk art. Skip the mid-day sun and start working on your chalk art early in the day.
In some places, chalking on public property is considered graffiti and is not legal. Please be aware of the laws about chalking. If in doubt, stick with your own property.
All artwork must be appropriate for public viewing by all ages. Please no lewd, graphic violence, gore, political messages, advertising, nudity, etc.
Official judging based on first impression, creativity, originality, skill and use of color. Decision of the judges are final.
